UFarmer Mobile App Privacy Policy

Dear User! By accepting this Privacy Policy, you (the User):

  • agree to the terms for collecting, storing, and processing your personal and other data and give full and unconditional consent to their processing by MCHJ "UFARM" TM "UFARMER" (hereinafter the Company);

  • agree and undertake to comply with the terms of this Policy, confirm your legal capacity, and act voluntarily and in your own interests.


1. General Provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the Policy) applies when using the UFarmer mobile application (iOS/Android) and its web version (collectively, the App) and governs the relationship between the Company and an individual/legal entity or sole proprietor who is an App user (hereinafter the User).

1.2. Installing, registering, and/or using the App constitutes the User's unconditional consent to the terms of this Policy and the purposes and methods of processing specified herein. If you do not agree, please delete the App and stop using it.

1.3. For the purposes of this Policy, personal information means:

  • 1.3.1. Data provided by the User independently during registration/authorization and while using the App (for example: full name/nickname, mobile phone number, email address, role in the system - farmer, agro pharmacy owner, agronomist, worker - profile settings, information about the farm, fields/crops, etc.).
    With separate consent the App may request camera/gallery access (for example, for the AI plant scanner and chat attachments), geolocation (for maps, weather, agro services), notifications (push), and, with explicit consent, contacts (for example, to invite contacts into the App).

  • 1.3.2. Automatically collected data transmitted to the App services during use (via SDK/API): IP address, access date/time, device and OS information, app and device identifiers (for example, push notification token), App version, technical logs, aggregated analytics events (GA4/GTM/Firebase), stability data (Crashlytics), addresses of requested screens/operations, etc.

  • 1.3.3. Other information whose processing is provided for by the User Agreement and/or separate consents (for example, data about orders, payments, 1:1 chat messages, support tickets, weather points/stations, scoring/installment plans when separately enabled and consented to).

1.4. Processing of personal data means any actions (operations) performed with personal data: collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating/modifying), retrieval, use, transfer (provision, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion, and destruction, including by automated means and with transmission over the Internet.


2. Information Collected by the Company

2.1. During registration/use of the App the User provides the requested data (for example: name/nickname, phone number, email). Additional details may be requested for specific features (including information about the farm, fields/crops, addresses, etc.).

2.2. User content. Within the App features the User may send messages (1:1 chat), attach photos/videos (for example, for plant diagnostics via the AI scanner), save documents and other files. By submitting such content, the User confirms that they have the right to use and share it.

2.3. Automatic collection and telemetry. The App uses SDKs (including Firebase/GA4/GTM/Crashlytics) to log events, crashes, performance, etc. to the extent required for secure operation, quality improvement, and usage analytics.

2.4. Data from third parties (for specific features and consents):

  • weather/map providers (geocoding/weather data),
  • payment/banking services (for payments/payouts/installment plans),
  • identity verification/scoring services (for example, MyID/identification for "Installments/Nasiya"),
  • insurance/logistics partners (for agro insurance/product delivery).

3. Methods and Technologies of Collection

3.1. The App may use automatic collection and tracking tools: SDKs, app installation identifiers, push tokens, and, when consent is provided, geolocation (precise/approximate).
3.2. With the relevant OS permissions, the App accesses the camera/gallery (capturing/uploading images) and, optionally, contacts (inviting acquaintances). Access can be disabled in the device settings.


4. Purposes of Processing Personal Information

4.1. To ensure the App operates and to perform agreements with the User:

  • registration/authentication (including OTP via phone number), profile management;
  • providing personalized services by role (farmer, agro pharmacy owner, agronomist, worker);
  • marketplace/agro pharmacies, orders/checkout/delivery;
  • agro calendar, weather, and recommendations;
  • 1:1 chat, notifications, educational content;
  • billing, balance, installment/scoring (with separate consents), agro insurance.

4.2. User support: responding to requests, diagnosing incidents, informing about service changes/updates/terms.

4.3. Security and fraud prevention: monitoring events, preventing abuse, protecting accounts and infrastructure.

4.4. Analytics and quality improvement: statistical and aggregated usage analysis, A/B experiments, improving UX and performance.

4.5. Marketing communications and "smart notifications**" (with consent): weather/agro calendar tips, service alerts, relevant offers. You can unsubscribe in the App settings and/or OS settings.


5. Conditions for Transfer to Third Parties

5.1. The User's personal information is confidential, except when the User voluntarily makes it publicly available (for example, by posting data in open sections/reviews).

5.2. The Company may transfer data to the following categories of recipients to the extent necessary to provide services:

  • hosting/cloud providers, CDNs, email/SMS/OTP providers;
  • Firebase/GA4/GTM/Crashlytics (analytics, telemetry, push notifications);
  • payment/banking services and installment/scoring providers (when separately enabled and consented to);
  • logistics/courier services (order delivery), insurance partners;
  • map/geospatial/weather providers;
  • support and development contractors (data processors engaged by the Company).

5.3. Transfer is permitted as required by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other applicable legislation, as well as with the User's explicit consent or when needed to perform a contract with the User.

5.4. Cross-border transfer. Some recipients may be located outside the Republic of Uzbekistan. Transfer is carried out with appropriate safeguards and on the basis of agreements and/or applicable legal requirements.


6. Legal Grounds for Processing

Processing is carried out on the basis of:

  • the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" dated 02.07.2019 No. ZRU-547;
  • the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Informatization" dated 11.12.2003 No. 560-II;
  • the User Agreement/contracts between the Company and the User;
  • the User's consent (including to access device functions, receive notifications, analytics, installment/scoring, geodata, etc.);
  • the Company's legitimate interests (ensuring security, combating fraud, improving service quality) while maintaining a balance with the User's interests and rights.

7. Access to and Management of Data

7.1. The User can view and edit part of their personal information in the App (profile/settings).

7.2. Device permissions (camera, geolocation, contacts, notifications) can be changed at any time in the iOS/Android settings.

7.3. Upon request the User may contact the Company to:

  • access, correct, or delete their data;
  • restrict processing, withdraw consent (going forward), obtain information about transfers to third parties.
    The Company will fulfill the request within the timeframes and scope provided by applicable law, subject to proper verification of the applicant's identity.

7.4. The Company may delete the User's account and/or data if the User Agreement or the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan are violated.


8. Storage Periods

8.1. Data is stored only for as long as necessary for the purposes specified in the Policy and/or as required by law/contract.
8.2. Certain categories (financial documents, security logs) may be stored longer due to legal requirements.
8.3. Once the processing purposes are achieved, data is deleted or depersonalized within a reasonable period.


9. Data Security

9.1. The Company applies the necessary and sufficient organizational and technical measures to protect personal information from accidental/unauthorized loss, access, alteration, disclosure, and other unlawful use (including access control, activity logs, encryption in transit (TLS), monitoring/protection tools).

9.2. Information is stored on protected servers behind firewalls and/or in cloud infrastructure with access control.

9.3. Security also depends on the User's actions: it is recommended to use strong passwords/PINs, handle the device carefully, and avoid sharing codes/links with third parties.


10. Features of Specific Functions

10.1. AI plant scanner. Images uploaded by the User are processed by computer vision algorithms (they may be transmitted to an inference/ML processing service on behalf of the Company). We strive to depersonalize metadata and retain only the minimum necessary to ensure service quality and improve models.

10.2. Weather and recommendations. Geodata (with consent), activity history, crops/fields may be used to personalize recommendations.

10.3. 1:1 chat. Messages and attachments are processed and stored to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal requirements.

10.4. Installments/scoring (subject to separate activation). Identity verification and transfer of data to authorized partners, banks, and/or KYC/scoring providers may be required. Each scenario is accompanied by separate consents and information.

10.5. Smart notifications, analytics, and A/B tests. Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Firebase Crashlytics/Remote Config are used. You can disable marketing push notifications in the App and/or OS settings; service notifications may be critical for the App to function.


11. Children

The App is not intended for persons who have not reached the age of majority (unless otherwise provided by law). We do not knowingly collect personal data of minors without the consent of their legal representatives.


12. Changes to the Policy

12.1. The Company may amend this Policy at any time without prior written notice to the User.

12.2. The last update date is indicated at the top/bottom of the Policy page. We recommend periodically checking the current version.

12.3. Continuing to use the App after changes are published constitutes unconditional acceptance of the updated Policy.
